Barn on the Road to Sedalia

A drive north on the road to Sedalia goes through hilly ranchlands of Douglas County, Colorado.  Nestled in the foothills amongst the scrub oak and rolling range, the barn stands through yet another generation.  Its classic design and shape visually tie us to earlier generations who built, used and maintained the barn.  It continues to be a favored landmark to those who travel the road to Sedalia.

The evening sun lit up the barn just before it dropped over the Rampart Range Mountains in the background to the west.
