It was the colors that drew me into the small, one room shop on the plaza.  Brightly painted primitive style art mixed with religious icons lit up the centuries old white walls. San Sebastian was established about 1604 in the silver and gold rich Sierra Madre Mountains.

And then there was the narrow, iron, spiral staircase drawing me upward to another room of wares.  As I looked down from the darker room, I saw the black, spiral lines overlay a feast of colors below me.
